Val missed very little when it came to observing people. Nothing purely physical slipped by her, and even if she didn't always read the emotional signs properly, she noticed them. Most things she let pass without comment, either dismissing them as trivial or saving the knowledge for later use.

This, however, was getting to be a problem, and avoiding it would only make it worse. Val squared her shoulders and gave herself a moment to brace for what would probably be an unpleasant discussion. Adults.

Shockwave is in the middle of typing up notes - what he can remember from his older experiments with regards to the energy crisis. It won't be much, and the energon deposit is enough for him to think they're set for the near future, but he will never not consider it a concern and therefore worth his time.

And there's an idea forming at the back of his head that he needs to think about more. Wishful thinking about having results but, well, he could work with that.

Setting the datapad aside, he looks over towards Val, grinning at her from where she's found herself at an acceptable height for being around Cybertronians. "Of course."
