With Tarn dealt with for the time being and his own systems running closer to 100% again, Megatron's been spending more time prowling around outside keeping an eye out for trouble than before, you know, just in case Tarn isn't as down and out as they thought, or anybody equally godawful decides to show up and stir shit, so that he can beat their heads in (he has kind of missed being able to beat in heads) and say 'I told you so' to any Autobots still dubious about his fool's energon detox decisions.

Well, OK, it's partially that and partially that he's got a lot on his mind right now and this is a reasonable excuse to spend some time alone with his thoughts. WHICH MEANS ITS AN IDEAL TIME TO INTERRUPT HIM, GET TO IT

(That said he may also be skulking around Maccadam's to make sure none of the people he's supposed to be responsible for are starting shit. Alternatively I am sure I can come up with an excuse for him to be anywhere you want so if you want something more specific feel free to hit me up/post whatever kind of starter u like, you know. im flexible and so is this post)

Bee actually hopes that Megatron is over the whole 'beating heads in.' He's rather intimate with the whole 'crushing heads' prospect and pretty much doesn't want to experience that again. At the moment, he is slightly confident that it's unlikely to happen.

Megatron? Looks like the guy has a lot on his mind. While most might be happy to leave the other alone or respect the mindless wondering... That's not really Bee is it? He has a nasty habit of butting in.

This time he doesn't say anything. Sliding right up next to the former warlord and trying to match the stride - damn larger Cybertronians and their longer legs - it's all about listening. If listening is something that is needed. Or wanted.

Megatron's a little surprised to see him, but not really all that surprised.

"Bumblebee." His tone is a little expectant, the what do you want unspoken but obvious nonetheless.

He slows down a little for him, because he doesn't have anywhere to be in a hurry.

At least Bumblebee is trying not to wander off for long periods of time. Optimus is being quite... Well protective. Bee is attempting to respect that. Mostly.

"Megatron," he replies smoothly, just as expectant in return. There's nothing he actually wants out of this, but that's not going to stop him from giving a little sass back.

The amused little huff he makes lets Bumblebee know he's gotten away with it even if Megatron isn't quite smiling as he looks down at him.

"Can I help you...?" Hardly Captain Manners, but the question is at least not hostile.

Smiling isn't always an indicator of amusement or whatever anyway. As an espionage agent, Bumblebee knows this. Megatron's smiles are actually terrifying anyway. This seems more honest. Hopefully.

"What? Does a 'bot have to have a reason to walk around with a clearly moping friend?"

Once more, it's a little snarky. He's gotten away with a lot, but he is the type that gently pushes the envelope. Besides... It's the implications in his statement that really matter.

"Moping," Megatron repeats with faint indignation, eyebrows (or not) raised. It's a moment later before 'friend' catches his startled attention, and he stares down at Bumblebee with subdued shock. He has pretty much never had anybody refer to him as a friend for millions of years.

Maybe it was a joke.

He frowns.

"I'm not moping," he says, moving on, "I'm ... ruminating."

Subdued or not, Bumblebee can still see it as clear as day. To meet that glance, Bee throws the guy a cheeky little grin. Yes, he knows what he's said. It's not a joke. An offer, but definitely not a joke.

C'mon... He thinks of Thundercracker as a friend and that guy's one hundred percent crankier than the one walking next to him.

"Semantics. Point is you're walking along with too many thoughts in your head and not enough filtration for them."

"Hmm," says Megatron. It's a little while before he says anything else.

"I suppose you're right. Volunteering as a filter, are you?" He sounds a little skeptical.

Bee can understand the skepticism. A little. It's not like Megatron hasn't spoken to him before. Then again, maybe the big guy doesn't get many legitimate offers.

"Suppose I am. If you want."
