And it certainly does feel like a punch, Newt is reeling back before he has a chance, and ends up flat against the ground, staring up at the sky, trying to catch his breath. The claw knocks all the wind out of him, and he struggles to come back with a high pitched rebuttal until he's gulped down enough air.
"What the hell!" he manages at last, but it comes out sounding far less intimidating than he means it. "Who just goes around poking people in the chest, seriously!" Maybe don't shout at the giant crab monster, Newt. That's probably the better idea here.
