Grimlock must have had a heck of a fight because for one thing he came to groggy. That and he found himself in something that didn't look like Earth at all. At least, not the parts he's seen. He was in a hole, a pretty big hole. The dinobot pushed himself off the ground, rubbing his head. "Oh man...if what happened that I think happened...then Denny's gonna be maaaaad." Because mad is the maximum emotion for your home getting blown sky high.

So off Grimlock goes to explore what became of what he thinks is Earth...at least till he finally gets the sense to look up to the horizon. That doesn't look like Earth buildings, not unless the Decepticons had a busy night. No, that definitely was..."Cybertron? I'm on Cybertron?"

...oh he gets it now. Grimlock broke into an uproarious chuckle, "I get it! Jazz or Drift must have picked me up as a joke...or something." He didn't really think this over. "Uh hey guys? I'd like to go back to Earth now...guys?"

Obviously they were busy doing something. He'd just have to find them. Maybe Bumblebee and Strongarm were around too, having a big laugh about it. There goes that big green dinosaur Cybertronian calling out as loud as his footsteps. He has no indoor voice whatsoever.

This whole place is stupid. Everyone here -- except that Pipes guy -- is stupid. Even Earth was better than this. At least on Earth, no one was telling him Cybertron was a wreck or that he needed to kill someone.

So it was back to the stupid crater to kick rocks around and maybe stumble into a way back.

Except then the ground shakes, and someone's voice is yelling. His head practically jerks up, whipping toward the sound, eagerly.

"Grimlock?"

Grimlock didn't know anything about Pipes or this terrible mess of a Cybertron, but he did know Sideswipe's voice when he heard it.

He perked his head up, searching around for that voice's owner. "Sideswipe! Hey, where did everybody go?"

It's obviously some kind of joke.

He actually breaks into a run. That's Grimlock. There is no way those shaking footsteps and that voice could belong to anyone else. He's proven right as he rounds a corner, and honestly?

He has never been happier to see the dinobot in his life.

"Grimlock!"

The poor guy probably has all of five seconds before the blur of the red Autobot launches at him to try and hug that big dinosaur head. Man it is good to see the big guy.

Grimlock has the talent of being unmistakably himself no matter where he goes. The mech had no time to react to the sudden blur coming to engulf him in a hug.

“Hey buddy!” Others would have rejected the hug, but Grimlock chuckles as he hugs back with his little dinosaur arms.

But he's sure acting weird. It's like he hasn't seen anyone for awhile. “Hey so uh...what happened here? Did that Jazz guy bring us here?”

It is Grimlock. If there were any lingering doubts, that hug puts them all to rest. No one's ever so open about affection as the big dinobot is. Having him here is a sudden, huge relief. No one else is... but Grimlock sure is.

So he just hugs the dinosaur. Happily.

"I wish." There's a pause, and he looks up, before the rest comes out in a rush. "I just sort of woke up here. None of the others are around and there's this huge ruined city. It looks like the vids of Cybertron during the war."

It's actually quite hard not noticing someone like Grimlock stomping through the area and calling out names. Naturally, he's more drawn to the idea of a tyrannosaurus charging through the area. Please don't step on his flowers him, big T-Rex.

With this now underfoot, Koh cautiously approaches the dinobot. "Are you looking for someone?"

And while Grimlock's a monster of a guy, he notices the little bot he's about to step on. He stops, looking down at the little dog mech. Weird, he was like a minicon Steeljaw.

“Uh yeah. Didn't you hear me? I was all.” raises his voice, “SIDESWIPE! Like that. Funny, don't think I've seen a minicon like you.”

If one fault he has, it's giving too much hugs. Yet he doesn't regret the big dino hug to the delinquent bot one bit. He chuckles, hugging the mech tight to his chest.

But um, he's not totally ignorant of what's going on. And Sideswipe's info dump doesn't rub him well. “Yeah...guess Cybertron REALLY needed Bumblebee, huh? Who knew he did so much?”

After being greeted by an alternate Bee and an insane crab, getting crushed against Grimlock is a welcome change. Though it doesn't stop the whole feeling of being smashed up, or stop the grunt out of him.

"I -- Uh -- Uh huh--" One of his arms flails around to pat at Grimlock's shoulder. "Crushing. Grims."

Just don't tell Grimlock about the insane crab and you'll be good. The mech is just gonna hold onto the mech. But maybe he can loosen his grip a bit.

“Oh sorry,” he gives a gentle pat, “So uh, what's going on?”

[triggerhappycopter]

After being cooped up with Tarn for weeks trying to get basic survival stuff up and running, Spinister's cabin fever finally get the best of him. That and finding out the person you live with in close quarters lied to you about everything was kind of sucky and didn't really forge a high tolerance for their presence.

So, Spin is out.

Aaaaand scavenging, because while Sixshot brought in most of what they needed, he really just didn't have the experience to judge what might and might not be useful the same way a Scavenger did. At some point, the heli ends up near the edge of the crater, turning up a piece of rust eat sheet metal and-

Well.

That sure looked like a green Grimlock!

... Or a green tiny Trypticon.

Sounded kind of more like Grimlock though!

But Grimlock wasn't green and neither was Trypticon...

From Grimlocks perspective, there is a bright magenta Decepticon standing on the edge of the crater with an expression of utmost confusion on his face.

Sure he's Grimlock! As far as he knows, he's the only Grimlock in existence. And right now this Grimlock is leading himself on a hunt for anyone he remembers from Earth. But his search turns up nothing, less than nothing. The mech looks pretty lost, and that's something as far as dinosaur robots go.

And just as he's in the middle of his 35th Bumblebee, someone catches his eye. He almost lost them if it weren't for their loud magenta colors. And for some reason this little mech looks like he's seen Optimus' ghost head out and ride a little tricycle.

He waves his little dino arm, yelling. "What's your deal?!"

"We're on Cybertron somehow, but it's... broken. It's like blown up into pieces and there's some guy who says he's Bee, but man, he's boring and old."

He's rambling, and it's probably unhelpful, but at least he's not getting crushed.

"And..." Then he pauses, and there's a slight shudder. "There's some 'Con here... he stabbed himself. Just up and grabbed my sword and whap! Right in the chest..."

This time, the shudder is more forceful, and those shoulders hunch at the memory.

“Wow...Bumblebee?” that's a lot to take in, especially the Bumblebee part. Who'd think he be so old and boring? “...yeah I can see it.”

Oh yeah there's the whole broken Cybertron thing, but honestly he wasn't around Cybertron long enough. “So is this like the future or something?”

Forget that, this mech Sideswipe's describing, it's enough to make him shudder, “I knew some Cons were creeps but...that guy sounds like he could top dogboy, Steelface whatever his name was.”

"Don't tell Bee. He'd be all offended we called him old and boring."

He shrugs, swinging his feet a bit where he dangles in Grimlock's hold. It's not uncomfortable, but he's used to moving a little, at least, when he talks. "I guess. I don't know. No one told me."

Another shudder of his own. "Believe me, big guy, I'd take Steeljaw over that crab any day."

[triggerhappycopter]

The yell makes Spinister jump, attention suddenly a lot more focused on the green mishmash of an apparition then it was a second ago.

The heli stares wordlessly for a few seconds longer, optics narrowing in suspicion.

Then he sloooowly starts sliding out of view. How is he managing that with all the junk and stuff around? Don't ask. Better not to think too much on how Spin manages a lot of things that he does, really.

“Not like he can hear me.”

He chuckles at that last bit. He doesn't know he even has Sideswipe dangling. Even more he doesn't realize he lets go at the horrible realization about Sideswipe's con.

“...uh, did you say crab?”

[imatruck]

The mech looks a little skittish—well, a lot skittish. Grimlock wondered if perhaps he was being too loud around the other guy. He had a bad indoor voice.

But then the mech starts sliding away and the dinobot's weirdness radar goes off. Something's odd about this guy, that's for sure.

Grimlock starts going after him, hopping from junk to junk. “Wait! C'mon, give me an answer or something!”

"Don't say that. He'll like, materialize out of nowhere."

Except that probably wouldn't be so bad, all things considered. Maybe there'd be one more normal face around here somewhere. He doesn't have much time to dwell on it, though. He's too busy hitting the ground.

Ow.

"... Oh." Oops. "Uh. It's not like the other guy! He walks normal!"

At this point, Grimlock wouldn't mind Bee appearing out of nowhere. Maybe then he could get something from his ghost dad and save the day.

But nope, here he was with just Sideswipe on a creepy Cybertron with a creepy crab. But he's not afraid at all no.

He's really creeped out.

“Uh...you mind givin' me a heads up when he comes around?”

Hold it, “...in fact, maybe we can bunk together til Bee finds us!”

True. If Bee were here, things would probably start looking up. Somehow. But the yellow bot isn't around. There's just him, Grimlock, and a crazy crab who likes getting stabbed.

... They're both creeped out, to be honest.

"Uh, sure. If he turns up again."

And then he actually cracks a grin, thumping a hand on Grimlock's side. "Sounds like a plan, buddy. No one here I trust like you."

Spinister was actually very used to loud. He was also quickly getting used to a Grimlock at the point he'd been pulled from.

The problem was just that this wasn't the Grimlock he was getting used to and he didn't have a gun on him since Megatron crushed it, so everything was weird and nothing made sense.

"Whhhhhhhhyyyyyyy?" he asks, tracking Grimlock's progress from behind a pillar, looking quite displeased.

But one thing for sure, he's lucky enough to get stuck and creeped out with Sideswipe here.

The dinobot bends down to take another snug for the mech, “Same here. I mean, you're the only guy I know right now hehe.”

Spinster isn't the only one finding everything weird and nonsensical. The mech wished the other guy wouldn't be so dodgy. Grimlock started to get irritated.

Grimlock, rather than stand around, headed out to track the mech in the direction of where he saw Spinster last.

“Cause you don't just stare at someone and run!”

He's...a sort of reasonable guy, really. “What, you some kind of scavenger or somethin'?”

Now that Koh doesn't have to worry about ending up beneath a dinobot's foot, his head slowly tilts to the side, blinking a few times.

"Minicon?"
