Seeing Optimus at the lab wasn't enough, not with Valeria's careful eye and knowing glance that told Shockwave she knew he hadn't taken her advice to spark yet. He was beginning to understand the benefits of belonging to a species that didn't create smaller versions of themselves, even as intelligent as she was.
