the punch has been spiked, the music is whatever they could scrape together, and there’s bleachers to make out behind. takes place OUTSIDE in the forum so there's plenty of space and people can easily crash it.

prom king is optimus prime, prom queen is pipes.

Pipes, of course, had made it his sole mission in life (or at least the next few hours) to talk to literally everyone. Even the giant phase sixer and mass murderers - he's working up to those, alright.

Right now, it's Magnus' turn. Pipes practically skips over to her, absolutely delighted to see another Lost Light crew member. "Magnus!" he salutes quickly, still not sure if she would attempt to write him up in the middle of a party on another planet. "It's great to see you, uh... taking part? It's certainly been a while."

Your armour has a lovely shine and you're looking very law-bringer-y today, he decides, is probably a bit over the top. Maybe some other time.

Magnus doesn't quite smile when she sees Pipes, but her face softens noticeably. "Ah, Pipes! It has, indeed, been a while. It is... good to see you, again." Magnus may not have known Pipes all that well, but any resurrection is worth celebrating. "I hope that you are enjoying yourself in a responsible fashion?"

He's probably going to end this evening completely gazeboed on one of the bleachers but it's the journey that matters, not the destination.

"Actually, speaking of..." Pipes nudges Magnus' knee gently. "I heard it's official party rules that you have to dance at least once for no less than exactly five point six minutes."

If there's a less subtle way of asking her to dance, Pipes probably doesn't know it.
