There isn't any resistance from Rodimus, and his grip shifts the moment he feels Drift take his hand - mirroring his actions, although his thumb rubs idle patterns across the black plating of Drift's hand. Staying still isn't one of his strengths and he's always moving, even in little ways. But his optics flicker from the wall to their hands and finally to Drift's face.
