Ultra Magnus has taken it upon herself to be the city's one-bot welcoming committee. She might not know how to make friendly first impressions, but she does know how to figure out whether it's safe to be friendly. Besides, patrolling the streets gives her an excuse to keep her tires on the streets, ready to intervene if any of the Decepticons decide to make any trouble. And it's on one of these patrols that she encounters Dante.

Dante hears the vehicle coming long before he sees it turn onto his street. It's reminiscent of one of those double-decker trailer trucks, but it's got far fewer straight edges and right angles than is usual for human trucks. That's the least of the vehicle's oddities, though. Its second most prominent oddity is that there's no space in front of the cockpit for an engine - the front of the cab is flat from windows to wheels. The first most prominent oddities are the massive rocket launchers attached to the trailer.

As the vehicle approaches, a voice booms from its front. The voice - far louder than most humans can be heard from inside their cockpits - says, "Greetings, human. Please state your name and purpose."
