[Star Liberator, a soldier once known for tearing up worlds, now found himself stranded on a dead world. It turned out the build-a-spaceship plan didn't get off the ground. Not only that, he discovered offworld communication was impossible. His options dwindled by each day he spent in this prison world.
The worst of it? His liquid medication, the ones that keep any aberrant mental disturbance at bay, were now almost to the bottom of their tanks. No way he could synthesize the compound, he had not received that kind of education. He recognized more and more he thought without the full clarity his design had allowed him in the past. Now he had something weighing through his brain, a hot and caged feeling. It made him want to snap, at first..
Now he had a new contender for a big problem: the strange plant life that began flourishing. He mistook them for invaders, threatening to dispose them, only for them to crumble into dust.
Thus he learned the dust proved more dangerous than he though: it was a toxin. A toxin he could not cure or fix. He couldn't diagnose what was going on, only through the off-chance knowledge of others were affected by it. It began to weigh his mind with something strong as emotion, something deep and instinctual, something that eroded tactics and training. He couldn't place the word for this feeling, only that it made him lash out at any nearby immobile object.
Which brought him to the edge of the city, taking his frustrations out by mauling a piece of metal, clawing it like a beast. Anything to stop these feelings, really.]
