Admittedly, the expected the strange wilds to be a bit more, well, wild than this, going by the descriptions some of neutrals who'd fled the surface had given him. This was kind of serene. A facade perhaps?
Or maybe he was he dreaming?
Slowly, Aftermath rises, putting his weight on his uninjured leg. The little field kit hadn't really done much, but it had stopped the energon leak and dampened the pain somewhat. The wound was hardly a mortal one. There'll be a chance to fix up better, depending on whether or not he found the tools; there should be something at least in a deserted city.
The old frontliner peers out over the crater, curious and vaguely wishing he had a better knowledge of whatever it was that had grown here. At least it doesn't look like he'll be starving- as soon as he could find a way to convert the raw energon into something usable anyways.
