Bee was a much needed, much welcomed addition to the group. After having thought he'd lost him, it gave comfort to his spark to have him standing beside him. Bumblebee wouldn't know it, but Optimus had considered him just as much a leader as himself.

It isn't until after the catching up that he turns to Bee, letting everyone talk among themselves while he focuses his attention on the smaller bot.

"You seem to have met with some bad company since we last met."

It's said lightly, without making too much of a fuss. The exact opposite is going on inside, considerably worried for his friend. But now wasn't the time to delve into that.
