Drift isn't bothered by how slow Rodimus is to comprehend all of this -- everyone takes their time and Rodimus especially his, and Drift would never begrudge him that. But having to slowly relive the prickling humiliation from the whole event even just through memory is uncomfortable at best, and Drift just nods slightly, his gaze bitter and still directed away from Rodimus'.

"I was the message, Rodimus." Drift's long since let go of his ego, as much as he can, but this is still hard, and he can't scrub the last bitter traces from his voice. "Most of it, anyway.
