[OPEN] Arrival
Who: Optimus Prime & You
Where: The Clinic, The Crater
When: After Optimus (IDW)'s return to the city
What: Optimus Prime arrives on the planet
Warnings: ?
THE CLINIC
Wandering through the destroyed city, Optimus took a moment to consider how getting suddenly transported to another planet was pretty high on the list of strange things that had happened in his life, a list that had grown much quicker in the past few months than he would have thought possible. This was certainly not a specific scenario they'd trained for at the Autobot Academy, that's for sure.
With so many buildings in serious disrepair, finding one that not only seemed intact but to have working electricity was a surprise to say the least. With some apprehension he made his way over to the building, cautiously sticking his head in the doorway and hoping whoever, or whatever, might be inside was friendly.
"Hello? Anyone here?"
THE CRATER
Optimus had left the clinic some time ago to try and get a better feel for the city. It was pretty unnerving how much the ruins looked like Cybertron, and the silence was starting to get to him by the time he made it to a huge crater in the middle of everything. An unrefined energon deposit? Just sitting here unguarded in the middle of the city? That was certainly strange. Even if there weren't many bots here, leaving a resource like that unprotected went against everything he'd learned at the academy.
He quickly made his way down into the crater, sliding down some of the steeper slopes to get to the energon vein, running a hand over the rough crystal with a frown.

You'd think a Prime would have at least one Autobrand somewhere"Post-war."
Sentinel wonders briefly if this Autobot was from pre-war, like he is.
"You may want to seek out Optimus Prime for explanation of why our planet is barely clinging to life." He can also see the resemblance. If he was capable of feeling excited, he might be to see the smaller bot's reaction.
no subject
"Also that will be a little difficult since I'm Optimus Prime and I have no idea what's going on here. Which is why I am asking you." What kind of glitch-head was he dealing with here.
no subject
"You must not know your own planet as well as you think if you can't recognise it without the lights on, Optimus."
Ah, alternate universes. He's no scientist, but he sure as shit knows how annoying they are. For everyone else. Sentinel doesn't give a shit. Well, unless an alternate of himself shows up, then he guesses he'll have to murder it for spare parts and another T-Cog.
no subject
"Look, I don't know who you think you are, but if you're not going to give me a straight answer, why don't you just point me in the direction of someone who will. Who isn't me."
no subject
"I could give a frag if you believe me or not. You'll hear the exact same from anyone else you're fortunate enough to walk into."
Optimus does raise an interesting point, though. Where are all the corpses? Oh, well. He expects this guy will probably just walk away soon. Might as well give him a heads up like the Best Prime Ever he truly is.
"There's more than one Megatron. It's delightful."
no subject
"Well, thanks for your time," he said a little snipishly, "mind telling me your name on the off chance I need to find you again?"
i wish i had a gunfingers icon for this
He stands up again, seeing the conversation drawing to a close. Not as fun as Starscream, unfortunately.
"Sentinel Prime."
Is is ANY WONDER HE'S A COMPLETE SHITHEAD
GOD
Then again, who would want to pretend to be Sentinel? He may be a member of the Elite Guard but surely any bot who's spent two minutes with him would realize their mistake. Not to mention Sentinel was one of the only bots he knew with an ego big enough to wear this paint job.
"Please tell me you're joking." It came out a little more beseechingly than he intended. He was starting to get a processor-ache from all this.
AYYY
His tone some how colder than before, taking on a slightly pissed tone, "Tell me, why would I joke?"
C'mon man everyone knows Sentinel is a totally upstanding Prime with tons of honour and totally not an awful Autobot who murdered thousands of innocent mechs to get to the top of the Senate!!
no subject
Unfortunately, it really didn't seem like he was joking, the way he asked that. Which made this whole situation that much more confusing and infinitely more frustrating.
"Fine, Sentinel Prime. You want to give me a reason why there are multiple Megatron and supposedly two of me?"
no subject
Life sucks when you're a Sentinel. Too bad no-one told him about Zeta.
"If I knew, I would've done something about it," His optic twitches ever so slightly. "That's just how it is and what we have to accept is happening."
no subject
Also could this guy be any more pessimistic. You'd think Sentinel would at least pretend to be in control of the situation.
"If you don't know what's going on, I'm just going to go see if I can find someone who does." He is pretty done with this whole conversation at this point.
no subject
Sentinel's trying to regain his stockpile of fucks to give after almost dying. Soon, soon.
"Ah, ignoring the part where no-one truly knows." He can't help but snort. "Won't you be popular."
no subject
Good to know Sentinel is an infuriating jerk no matter where you are in the cosmos.
no subject
He plants a ridiculous yaoi hand (well, more like a thumb and index finger) on Optimus' shoulder, squeezing ever so lightly. "And I wish you the best of luck." he growls, nudging the smaller red bot away.
Why is it always the little ones?
