STARSCREAM x3 COMBO!!!!!!!!

Who: IDW Starscream and YOU
What: The slimy robot version of Dick Cheney that no one was hoping would show up does exactly that.
Where: Around the city/near the forum and clinic.
When: N...ow...
Warnings: Language prolly

Starscream's arrival is honestly as much the same as anyone else's; confusion and mild outrage is a pretty par for the course reaction to have to waking up on an unfamiliar Cybertron. In his specific case, for a moment he thinks that maybe he's having some kind of nightmare or horrific vision of his potential failure to rule effectively, but once it's clear that he is experiencing neither of these things, it's simple for him to buckle down and hit the bricks to look for answers.

By the time he transforms and touches down near the forum, he's already pretty well informed with the basics of what's happening here. Being in an alternate universe on a dead Cybertron populated exclusively by bots from infinite other alternate universes, might've been a hard pill to swallow once, but having recently experienced Shockwave talking about his insane, reality destroying plans first-hand…? Well, it doesn't seem that far fetched anymore.

It helps too that the first person that he had encountered was someone who, allegedly, was an alternate version of himself. That had honestly been harder to accept, and frankly he's still not really sure that he believes the stranger's claim. It would have been one thing if between the two of them, they had just behaved a bit differently from one another, because sure, some dissimilarities were bound to happen. For example, the bot in question was horribly unsubtle, acting with his every emotion laid out bare on his spindly little robot sleeve. But on top of that, they didn't even look remotely similar. This other Starscream had the appearance of a bare endoskeleton made out of knives.

Whether the strange, twitchy Decepticon had been lying or not, he was at least a good source of information, it would seem. Anyone who frequents the area around the forum will find Mr. Starscream The First poking about and checking up on the progress of operations here, looking over everything set up so far with a critical eye and strutting around like he owns the place. He already rules one Cybertron, so, y'know, obviously he can only have good things to contribute to this one. Whether the more tenured residents here like it or not. He won an election, OK?

There are several things that Jetfire would much rather being doing. Getting decent scans of the planet and going over the data should be his top priority. There's too much about this Cybertron that they don't know about. It is a puzzle, a mystery. This one can sustain organic life on its surface meaning that perhaps the composition of the planet has changed or been altered in some way.

It's unfortunate, but Jetfire doesn't have the means to such things just yet. He doesn't quite have the resources as of yet. That is why he is out and about. There must be salvageable tools - or at least enough out there that Jetfire can simply engineer what he needs. This also gets his mind from wondering how so many alternate realities and different places in the time stream could converge on one single point without repercussions.

This can't be healthy for the flow of time and space...

So, as he wanders and searches through all the abandoned places, Jetfire does pause and fix what he can. He can't just leave things be.

Jetfire pauses in his work. He knows that voice. The scientist knows it better than most, indeed. This is what gets him to pause in his work and look up. Sure enough... The frame isn't too familiar, but the owner is unmistakable.

"Starscream... No. I am in dire need of a decent lab and proper equipment before I can even hope of starting to scan and analyze what sort of changes this Cybertron has underwent."

"There's no need to preen," he stated rather evenly. "Even my patience may have its limits where Starscream patented arrogance and self importance is concerned."

No one else knew how to deal with that sort of thing better than Jetfire. He wasn't expecting every little personality quirk to be the same, but some things? Some things most certainly wouldn't change.

"Either way. Yes, I am Jetfire."

"Don't do anything that would merit me yearning to blast you and you won't have to worry about that sort of thing at all," Jetfire counters.

Hey, it's the truth. He hasn't taken out his own Starscream so what are the chances that he will this one?

"Are you also a scientist?" Jetfire asks, maybe a little too polite. In the end, that is the only way that someone is going to be able to help him. If his universe's Starscream really put his mind to it, his help in that area would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. That isn't going to happen.

Still, fixing things here and there will have to do in the interim.

"What I need is a proper lab and the equipment required to get some samples and readings about this Cybertron. Maybe if we know more about it, we can do more than just rebuild it."
