[Insert Nightwish song title for atmosphere]
Who: Megatron & Sentinel
Where: The City
When: Two weeks or sth
What: robot cockfight
Warnings: robot pissbabies whacking each other with steel bars, etc. (also, robogore)
The dark gray energon hauler seemed oddly well placed in the destroyed scenery, looking as unkempt as the architecture around it. Megatron shifts back into his bipedal mode after spotting a damaged terminal. Hands gripping the panel at its base, it's easily pried loose, revealing the machinery inside. He looked into the tangle of electronics, remembering what pieces he was instructed to pull free of the frame.
After two weeks, the city was found to be rather decrepit of people, but had plenty of supplies to get a basic working settlement going. Hand buried well into cabling and panels, he flicks on his own guiding lights to grab the right part and begin to unplug it out of place.
Just a dull, average day of scavenging. What could possibly go wrong?

He doesn't even recognise the miner at first glance, assuming him to be just inconsequential drone. In his mind, Sentinel is right! Only, this one is one of those annoying ticks you can't quite pull off without twisting and crushing first.
Surprise attacks are for weenies, he decides. If Megatron is to be destroyed, he has to see who did it. So when Sentinel double takes and realises who it is, he noisily powers up his shoulder cannons. The Prime would never admit it, but maybe he took Megatron's uprising a bit more personally than he'd ever care to admit, and so doesn't really plan ahead apart from 'hit the fucker until he stops moving'. His battle mask slides into place with a small click.
"Megatron. What a serendipitous surprise."
Y'know, because now he can continue his efforts to rip your spine out through your robot asshole.

A cold hate for the mech in front of him churns in his tanks. He wanted nothing more than a chance to tear into his plating - but he'd need to control his urges to avoid getting blasted. His free hand curls into a fist.
"Going to try to kill me again? Shouldn't you have learned better by now."
no subject
How profound, Sentinel. He cocks his head, Megatron has already made eye contact and that's pretty much enough. The fight they started should be finished with one of them dead.
Sentinel had been told it was him who loses the fight.
Not this time.

But it looks like he was in that trap again, quite literally backed up against a wall and with only one option left if he wanted to keep living.
Megatron begins to circle around him. He's gone far past the point of meekly accepting whatever violence Sentinel wanted to inflict on him.
"Come then. Let's have a conversation."

Sentinel's primed cannons aim at Megatron and he fires both off, sparing no quarter.
Though, given the confined space he'll probably not... do that again...
no subject
Ignoring the pain, he rebounds and hurls the remainder of the makeshift shield right at Sentinel's chest and face, molten metal and all.
no subject
He takes that as his cue to grab some debris off the ground and fling it at Megatron's head while closing the distance between them to try and deliver an UPPERCUT. Motherfucker he will noogie Megatron only instead of playful brotherly love he'll be trying to cave his head in!!
no subject
He leaps at the Prime's waist and legs, attempting to tackle Sentinel's ass right into the debris he was throwing.
no subject
Sentinel uses the momentum of the dive to try and slam Megatron's head into the ground using both hands, while simultaneously jamming his knee up into his robot gut.
no subject
Megatron lets out a grunt as he goes face first into the rebar and concrete and feels energon begin to leak from his mouth. The impact from the kick knocks him off Sentinel, but the miner finds his ground and immediately begins scrambling back to his feet.
He feels something sharp brush his hands in the debris pile and seizes it.

Unfortunately, his cannons wouldn't be the best option here. While he does want to kill Megatron, bringing down a structure on top of them both isn't something he really wants to do. So, he opts for his wrist mounted guns, firing several blasts at the dissident.
no subject
Some of the shots bury themselves into his armor as he starts firing. The upper layers have holes burned into them where they land - exposing more vulnerable framing and energon lines. While the gunfire might have downed a lesser armored Decepticon, he finds himself able to continue to rush forward and attempt to give the Prime a well-aimed fist to the face as hard as his arm could muster.

Delightful.
Because of the force of it, Sentinel is dazed, knocked to one side and clearly unsteady on his feet afterwards. He can see the wrist guns work, though, and continues firing off more rounds at point blank range, albeit them being less aimed than before due to the pain in his face and slight concussion.
no subject
It unfortunately wasn't enough to stave off his eager shanking of Sentinel's knee, which involved the sharp piece of rebar in his other hand being plunged into Prime's joint.
no subject
With one hand, he fires more at Megatron's midriff while using the other to pull the rebar out of his joint, another poor choice as pieces of metal and a shitton of energon comes out with it.
no subject
A familiar rage begins to build in his spark as he reaches forward to clamp a hand around the Prime's wrist, bending and twisting the metal of his forearm to put the gun out of commission - but more importantly to get him to drop the rebar and stop firing, or be subject to more pain.
no subject
Stubborn as ever, Sentinel refuses to admit to himself he's losing badly. He braces off his feet and pushes himself forward into Megatron, hoping to knock him onto his ass. The broken joint in his knee twists and shrieks with the added strain.
Double delightful.
no subject
The rebar is dropped somewhere out of reach, and he clutches Sentinel's helm in an attempt to stave him off while he figures out how to get out from under a lot of gold douchebag.
no subject
He goes for the head as well, using both hands (despite one of them being broken to hell) and pushes on Megatron's helmet, trying to get a good grip to break his neck.
no subject
A mix of terror and anger crashes through his system, entirely uncertain of how to break out of this. He glares back through the makeshift fingers, his own hands beginning to easily begin to bury into the armor of his helm as his grip tightens.
no subject
He didn't expect that. The massive Prime's optics widen as his shock plasters itself all over his face.
no subject
At the look of shock, Megatron sees his opening and takes it. With the pressure abating on his midsection, he lets go of the Prime's head and shoves him off and to the side, making sure Sentinel's face gets another gift via an elbow to the head before struggling to get back up again.
He takes a second to spot what he'd been looking for to begin with, and makes some space in between them.

Evidently, the damage is starting to take it's toll. Strong as he is, Sentinel isn't a .1%er and can't take as much as Megatron can. Luckily enough, Megatron isn't underneath him when he hacks up a load of energon and a few bits of metal. Pity, really, Sentinel thinks. It's disgusting, but it could have temporarily blinded him.
Despite the space giving him ample opportunity to strike back, he can't.
no subject
A hateful churning in his spark convinces him otherwise, and he steps back to transform. Engine snarling, he picks up speed and rams into the Prime from the front - intending to knock him on his back.
no subject
You know, just in case Megatron doubted Sentinel wasn't still attempting to murder him.
no subject
Which is why the treads accelerate over the golden armor, teeth digging and mincing over the metal as they went faster. With a shriek of metal and shower of sparks, it isn't long before they began to eat down to the less sturdy structure underneath.
no subject
This
did not go as planned.
Hmm.
no subject
There's a silent moment as the energon continues to ooze out of the Prime's body, as if Megatron were debating something. Scraped mouth pressed into a thin line, he reaches down and grabs the helmet, slipping it back onto his head.
"Stay awake. I'm not going to kill you."
He lowers to one knee, looking at the mess of machinery.
"But as you've taken so much from the Cybertronians you were meant to serve, it is only right that now I return the favor."
no subject
If Megatron wanted a reaction, he won't get one beyond more bleeding.
no subject
Fully realizing the extent to the damage he's inflicted, he's actually hesitant to continue. He finds his hands frozen, and his mind stuck on Croteus 12.
Venting heavy, he steels himself and reaches for Sentinel's tcog, careful not to touch anything else. Pulling it out of the pool of energon, the cables connected to it are easily slipped free, and he keeps the organ in his hand.
He stumbles away from Sentinel, and leans against a wall, suddenly rather hyper aware of the energon coating his treads and armor.
He attempts to reach the medical clinic with his less-than-ideal comm, hailing both Ratchet and Red Alert with a simple message, sounding disturbed.
"Sentinel's dying."
