Video: A formal call to the Decepticons of this lovely city
I've been told time and time again that this war is over, but I have yet to see it beyond a tolerance teetering on a knife's edge between episodes of unnecessary, extreme violence. We can do better than this - we can do better than wallowing in our circumstance.
To the Decepticons here who still follow my word: If you can hear this, now is the time for you to break out of this malaise and act. I am in need of your skills, and we've remained scattered in this rubble for far too long.
We, of all of us here, should understand how to build something grand from nothing.
It is time we take that first step.
(Private To Sixshot)
Sixshot, how skilled are you at tracking someone's scent?
(Private To Spinister.)
Spinister, I am in need of a medical advisor. It is important you come to the Autobot clinic immediately.

[It's unlikely it even needed that, but, well, protocol. He sprays and cleans the wound, but doesn't bother to weld it up.]
That should seal on its own shortly - if it hasn't already.
[He looks up at Brainstorm. He suspects that isn't the only reason the scientist decided to frolic on over.]

[ Brainstorm flexes his hand looking at the small wound, then turns his optics back on Megatron. ]
I'm cured! I could have lost my hand to rust.
[ He was, perhaps, being a little too fake. The scientist lingers, looking about. ]
Is there anything in particular that prompted action from you?
no subject
[Being on staff with one nurse usually isn't an ideal long term strategy.]
And I find the cross-faction tension keeping everyone sitting around while this happens to be less than productive.
no subject
I noticed. You know, I never really saw you as the caring type.
[ Just the type for wiping out all organic life and killing half the race, including neutral parties. ]
You're really interested in cross-faction peace? I'd figured you'd be... [ Brainstorm makes a vague gesture. ] You know. All pumped up on aggression at this age.

[What a silly question, Brainstorm! He wouldn't put up with putting bandages on people's pinkies if he wanted to crush heads in his robot biceps.]
I was angry at the Senate and the system they created because of the injustice it caused. But they're not here. For most of the Cybertronians here, they're just tired of fighting each other.

I see.
[ But those gladiator fights didn't just come from nowhere. Brainstorm was still juggling what he wanted to say to him, how much he wanted to reveal. If he didn't say something certainly some other mech would one-up him and take the advantage instead. He might be a terrible spy, but he understood that having that head start could make a difference. ]
I'm a MTO. Obviously, I have a lot of feelings about the war.
[ ...wait. ]
...Uh. You do know what a MTO is right?
no subject
[He's receptive to what Brainstorm was going to say, though, because he clearly had something concerning him about this whole matter.]
no subject
[ This is awkward. ]
I figure someone would have told you by now.
no subject
[His expression weakens a little at that. It wasn't the happiest topic to cover, considering the apparent fate of their planet.]
What does being an MTO entail?
no subject
Our race wouldn't be almost extinct if the war didn't happen, but some of us wouldn't exist at all.
[ How many other MTOs were here? Not many. Most of the other mechs here were forged, save for the few cold constructed. ]
Cold construction became somewhat of an artform during wartime. Sparks were thawed out by the hundreds to be placed into specifically designed bodies in response to certain battles. Essentially, if they needed more snipers, they made more snipers. If they needed more bomb disposal, they made more bomb disposal. That's what MTO stands for-- Made to Order.
[ Brainstorm sighs. ]
And before you ask, Decepticons did it too. You know that poor sod Ambulon? He was born a leg. It's not easy becoming something else when you're a MTO.
