Who: Dreadwing (TFP) & Megatron (TFP)
Where: Somewhere Dramatic
When: After Megatron (IDW)'s Announcement
What: Dreadwing rejoins the (actually threatening) Decepticons
Warnings: Megatron is here
Having spent a number of weeks with the Decepticons of one of the other universes, Dreadwing was restless from the lack of action. He had expected when Tarn took command of his forces it would invigorate a sense of purpose and spur them into movement against the Autobots, to stop their growing advantage on this planet. To say he was less than impressed with how events played out would be an understatement. And now Megatron was asking them to help the Autobots, it was insulting.
So he had packed up his newly assembled arsenal and left, with no desire to support a group of cowards willing to roll over to the Autobot's will. He had been flying for some time before finally landing on one of the tallest building that was still standing, looking over the city as he contemplating his next move.

After a couple more seconds of thought, he promptly transformed and flew lazily towards the other Decepticon. Whatever their conversation would be was guaranteed to be enlightening.
"Dreadwing. Fancy meet you here."
He said lightly, transforming and landing a respectable distance away.

"Lord Megatron. It is indeed a twist of fate," he responded stiffly, with a mostly unsuccessful effort to play off of Megatron's levity.

Is that how it was going to be, Dreadwing? Well, Megatron would have preferred to be provoked, if only to elevate some of the brain-deep boredom that had set in during his time here. Oh how dull a world largely populated by Autobots was. How he longed to shake that up, he'd hate it if the Autobots grew stagnant without him around to keep them on their toes.
And for that, he'd need followers of his own.
"You have been missing for quite some time. I have heard about your disagreement with Starscream, and I am surprised you did not finish him off. I would have." Which was completely untrue, but Megatron enjoyed saying it out loud. He enjoyed it even more when Starscream could hear it.

"That was my intent, and I regret that such actions were aginst your will, my lord." A bit of honesty and contrition never hurt in these situations (it certainly worked for Starscream well enough).
"Had I not been interrupted, things would have ended very differently."
The last thing he wanted was Megatron thinking Starscream lived because of he was not capable enough to finish the job. While he had no doubt Megatron would be able to finish off Starscream, the current situation was fairly clear evidence that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Not to mention-
"It was a younger version of yourself, the gladiator of Kaon, who intervened on his behalf."
