Someone didn't intend to be here at all. Someone was just trying to hide out from the world and crazy scrubbing medics and sulk. But, unfortunately, while he'd been dozing, the party had rolled in.

At some point, the ninja bot eases down a wall, slipping out of an air vent to do so.

Which is probably not as stealthy as he's hoping for, given the room full of bots. But, hey, he's trying.

"That was pretty smooth."

Yeah, sorry buddy. Someone saw you. Someone tiny and confused as to Kagerou's choice of entrance.

He jumps when he hears that voice. Honestly, he didn't expect to be seen, what with all the noise around. He's on edge already, and poor Pipes is the culprit of his shock.

"Wh--" And just like that, he's flattening himself to a wall. "I wasn't doing anything!"

"Woah!"

Pipes takes a step back in turn, holding his hands up to give the jumpy mech space and show he doesn't have any harmful intent.

"It's okay! I didn't think you were!"

His hands go for his weapons, regardless. But, given that this stranger doesn't have anything in his hands... Kagerou doesn't pull his blade. Not yet.

"What's happening here? What is all this?"

[planate]

"It's just-- a gathering. A party, I guess. You can stay! You can stay, there's gonna be food and stuff!"

He notes the lack of noticeable Autobot or Decepticon sign on this strange robot. Maybe he's a NAIL? Who... doesn't know about parties.

"A... party?"

No, he has no idea what you're talking about, Pipes. Parties weren't included in his databanks. Why would they be? He was never supposed to see the outside world.

"I don't understand."

[planate]

"A gathering. A box-social. A hootananny. Almost a rave but not quite. You're welcome here, if that's what you're worried about."

Pipes has deemed it as Prom Queen.

"Gathering... Why are they gathering?"

Out of all the words, that's the only one that makes sense to him. But he still steps back, closer to the wall once more.

"Why would I be?"

He shrugs, "Just because, mostly. You haven't been to many parties, have you?"

Not asked in a condescending way, of course. Pipes is genuinely curious.

"Everyone is!"

"I... never. I've never seen one."

His shoulders hunch, his wings flicking. But he doesn't bolt. Not yet.

"Even... AI?"

Pipes isn't entirely sure what he means by 'AI'. Aren't those usually computers? Well, he supposes it doesn't matter.

He holds his hand out, "Even AI."

"I... all right."

He hesitates a bit longer before slowly reaching forward and accepting that hand.

Pipes takes Kagerou, by the hand, into a slightly more populated area of the prom, though still in a fairly isolated spot. He's not so naive that he can't see the other mech doesn't like being around a lot of people.

"See?"

He hangs back a big, actually crouching down behind Pipes as the smaller bot moves. No, he doesn't like this. He doesn't like all these people. But... this one seems all right.

Seeing the huge form of Sixshot though -- he actually cringes.

"You're sure it's allowed?"

[planate]

"Allowed," he says, watching that cringe, "but not required."

"If you want to leave I won't force you to stay."

He's still half ducked behind Pipes, staring across the room. His hand on the smaller bot's tightens.

"I don't know where else to go."

[planate]

"Here is fine. Do you know anyone else here?"

He can think of a few to point Kagerou towards to make general connections and Good People.

"... No."

It's a lie. But, oh well. No need to try and explain the situation. And, besides, it wouldn't really help anything.

Pipes points out a few people.

"That's Optimus, he's really nice. I'm sure he'd be happy to help if you ever needed it." he gestures at both, just to be sure. "That one's Rodimus. He's kind of a jerk but he means well."

Finally, Magnus gets a point. "Ultra Magnus. It's pretty much her job to ensure the safety of people, and she's really good at it."

"He's... very big."

Kagerou, you're talking to Pipes. He's like half your size. And he's also doing his best to hunker behind the minibot again. "Why would any of them help me?"

"Hey, everyone's big compared to me! They're more like... average to large size."

He shrugs.

"Their size just makes them good at... getting things off high shelves, I guess."

He shakes his head, and stays put right behind the smaller bot.

"I can fly. I don't need things off shelves."

"Really?"

Fliers are too cool, he puts aside anything else for this. It's very important.

"I didn't realise you were a flier!"

"Yes."

Psh, Pipes, no. He's not important. He's like the opposite of important. All the same, he lifts his wings, flicking them a bit.
