[OPEN] INTRO LOG
Who: Lewa & YOU
What: Cybertron gets one more biomech
Where: The Crater
When: After robot prom
Warnings: None yet
Lewa had actually been expecting to wake up in some mysterious place he didn't know anything about. That's what you get from being a toa and putting your faith in ancient transportation technology. However, he had expected the others to be there with him when he got there. But after walking around shouting for them for a while, no one showed up. And, well, if they thought he was going to stay put and wait for them they had to be crazy.
Flying low through the city a few things became very clear. It was huge, it was clearly nothing like Metru Nui, and aside from a few very strange looking rahi there didn't seem to be much life around. He moved faster and faster through buildings and side streets trying to find anything familiar before suddenly coming up on an a huge clearing in the buildings.
Well that sure was something.
He dropped into the crater, looking around curiously. Those crystals were the strangest lightstones he'd ever seen, and the plants, well. They didn't look right at all. He spent his entire life in the jungle, and he'd never seen anything like this. Lewa bent down, gently inspecting the weird, silverish vine and odd fruit, looking equal parts curious and concerned.

Anyway, he's just out collecting some of the fruit for the humans back in the city. Not that this is the only place to get them, but it's the place where he knows there's a lot.
He doesn't notice Lewa, being too busy piling them up in his arms. Precariously high.

Lewa had never been one to let caution keep him from investigating something new. He flew over to where Pipes was gathering plants, landing on an out-cropping in the crater wall so they were eye to eye.
"Hello there!" he called out with a grin.
no subject
"I-- Hi!" Regardless, he doesn't sound annoyed at all. Like picking fruit is hard! "Oh, you're up high! Are you stuck?"
High for... someone of Lewa's size, at least.
no subject
"Stuck? Me? Not-never!" He spotted a higher point and jumped over to it, barely landing before leaping back with a flip to his original perch. There was a wide grin on his face.
"A wind-flying toa-hero like me doesn't get stuck."
"Heart-sorry about your fruit. How about you answer-tell me where we are, I quick-help you?" he asked, already jumping down to the ground in front of Pipes.
no subject
"It's okay about the fruit. Do the jump thing again!" Yeah, totally mature.
no subject
He crouched down, looking far too pleased with himself.
"There. So where are we?"
no subject
"Cybertron. It doesn't usually look this awful." A beat. "Actually, it does."
no subject
Speaking of which-
"Say, have you eye-spotted any of my toa-brothers? We are on an important hero-quest, but seems we got scatter-lost."
no subject
He doesn't mean that in a bad way, but he's pretty sure he'd remember seeing little dudes jumping around and speaking weird.
"I don't think so... I'll definitely keep an optic out for them, though!"
Aliens, man.

A look of disappointment flashed across his face before he threw his arms in the air in exaggerated defeat. "Well isn't that just happy-great," he complained, more to the general universe than Pipes, "Can't exactly hurry-find the Mask of Life if I have to go far-seek them first."
He put his hands on his hips, frowning at the city again, this time looking a bit annoyed. Searching this whole place was going to take ages, even for a high-flying air-toa like himself.
"Your city, Cybertron, how big is it?"
no subject
Awkward.
"Cybertron is the planet..."
no subject
"What's a planet?"
Guess who comes from a technologically primitive culture and only recently started to consider anything existing beyond the island he lived on.
no subject
"It's like... a really, really big rock."
no subject
He looked around suspiciously at the complete lack of anything that fit that description. No mountains, no cliffs. There were some boulders in the crater but surely that wasn't what Pipes mean- ah.
"You mean the hard-ground? The city is sitting ever-high on top of a giant rock?" This place was so strange.
no subject
"The city is like... part of the rock. Think of an island, but if there was no water so it was like... really big..."
He's not good at this at all.
no subject
"Ooooohhhhh. Like a mighty-huge Metru-Nui. Why didn't you just say so." The question was rhetorical, he was happy this little riddle-guessing session was over.
"Sounds like a lot more work than I first-thought."
no subject
"Sure, let's go with that." As long as the little guy was happy. "Everyone seems to have been drawn to the city near this crater, though I suppose it's possible the same could be happening in other cities around the planet and we wouldn't know because there's no planetwide network."
He taps his faceplate.
"Slag."
no subject
"What kind of network? Ground-roads? Tunnels? Is there no way to quick-travel between cities?"
no subject
Hey, man, Pipes will personally punch Primus in his shitty face if Hubcap arrived at one of the other cities.
"Not yet, no. I mean, you can try, but you'd have to go with someone and I can't guarantee it would be entirely safe. Or... not even completely suicidal."
no subject
"Guess I'd better get-going then. No point ground-sitting around here waiting. You've been very helpful, friend. Many-thanks."
