Informality is the name of the game here, people. Rodimus and Megatron, through some handwaved miracle have managed to talk to each other without yelling long enough to get the word out that hey - if you’re a part of the crew you’d better show up for some Important Information and Crew Bonding. But probably not phrased like that unless you talked to Rodimus. Drinks, however, were totally promised (again by Rodimus). You just have to make them yourself, although that was not clarified.

There is a sign on the front door that says NO TARNS ALLOWED. The plural is important since there’s like. Four goddamn Megatrons.

For the time being they’re going to include Brainstorm as an Autobot - he starts acting like a Decepticon and any crew member has the right to punch him until he stops.

Drift is acting third-in-command. Non-negotiable.

AND FOR GOD’S SAKE DO NOT ANTAGONIZE DECEPTICONS WHO ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU, RODIMUS.

Ideas of why/how they got here - this includes getting the crew caught up (who hasn’t been already) on the quantum ships as well as what they know of the Brainstorm situation.

People who are capable of doing things to make life less sucky should do that. Team Rodimus! This is your moment!

If there is anything your character would bring up to the group as a whole, feel free to make a thread for that too - this is really kind of a free-for-all group post to have people mingle and gossip and hammer out something to do!

Chromedome is of the mind that "Co-Captain" is the dumbest title anyone's ever come up with. "Sooo... if you're not on Team Rodimus, then that automatically makes you Team Megatron? Better tell half the ship then, they'll want to know."

Now, usually Chromedome would know better than to start an argument with Nightbeat, but what the hell. He's bored and there's only so much moping even he could do. Generally speaking, it's a lot easier to brood in the safety of his room. Which is back on the ship and not here.

[caseopened]

"Which half are you talking about? I'm just saying there's two Captains, and one team." He holds up two fingers. "Now if Rodimus is our boss, then it makes sense to be Team Rodimus. But since there's two captains, the entire ship is run by both of them equally, therefore no teams."

A smile cracks on those lips as he scoots closer.

[needlefingers]

"You just suggested that anyone not wanting to be on Team Rodimus would want to be on Team Megatron. There is no 'Team Megatron' thank god anyway, so what's your point?"

He is determined to drive this pointless argument as far as it'll go.

Also he sees you edging closer Nightbeat so he subtly shuffles out of reach.

"That's not what I said. I'm saying as the team we are, we have two potential bosses. Here--"

He grabs two glases. "This is Rodimus, and this is Megatron. If we had Rodimus for a boss, it makes sense to be Team Rodimus. But if our team--that's not the ship, mind you, there's only five of us--had Megatron for a boss, it'd be Team Megatron. I'm just saying, better to be Team Rodimus than Team Megatron."

A pause.

"You're the one bringing up the rest of the ship, I never talked about them once."

[needlefingers]

"Ahh, I love being talked down to. Do it again, Nightbeat, it's so much fun."

[caseopened]

"...Sorry. You know how I get." MAKE FRIENDS YOU ASSHOLE. "But if there's any way I can get out of this injury free I'm open for ideas."

[needlefingers]

"I've been friends with Brainstorm forever, so I'm used to it actually."

Though it was a little irritating when it came from someone new. "The point of the argument was to be pointless anyway." Which was a sort-of apology. If you squinted.

[caseopened]

"Which makes it fascinating, though. I mean...trivial stuff in this world is so often overlooked, have you ever wondered what would happen if you paid attention to it? Sometimes something like that makes all the difference."

He offers a smile, and slides a full glass over to him, straw included.

"Look, I get you're trying to avoid the obvious."

[needlefingers]

He sighs and accepts the glass. The gloom that he's been carrying around for the past six months starts weighing down on him, and he decides to get it over with.

"You probably want to ask me about Brainstorm, right? I've got nothing to tell you besides that he isn't as awful a person as people sometimes think he is. I've known him for most of my life and I know..."

[caseopened]

"Look, I believe you, Chromedome, but I have to believe what I saw too. Things aren't adding up in more ways than one. I'm going to side with Rodimus on this--Autobot until proven otherwise. But..."

His fingers drum the briefcase.

"That still leaves the mystery of the sigil on his faceplate."

Not that he expects anyone to believe him.

[needlefingers]

"How do you even know there is a sigil? I doubt he would have removed it just for you."

He had the feeling that he really didn't want to know the answer to this one, but he was mildly curious. If he didn't like the answer, he was sure he could block it from his memory somehow (figuratively speaking).

[caseopened]

"Because I saw it, Chromedome! You know I don't accept things without proof--investigator and all that. Why would I randomly single out Brainstorm if I hadn't seen something?"

But he sighs.

"The second Lost Light we found, we all raided it after the crew disappeared. We found this briefcase--"[Cue: lifting the briefcase]--"and Brainstorm with his faceplate torn off. Guess what was on the other side."
