sometimes i go out by myself and i look across the water
Who: pipes and.... you?!?!?!?!?
Where: around the city
When: haha um
What: pipes is being a bit of a busybody and seeking out those he's spoken to before but hasn't seen for a while along with generally just exploring
Warnings: none tho will update with any if needed. i'll also match styles if u wanna do action spam instead of prose
Wandering around, Pipes couldn't help but frown at some of the buildings that had seen the worst of this Cybertron's war. It's incredibly eerie, especially having made the stunningly good decision to go on his own - he was so eager to explore he didn't really think ahead in terms of possible danger on a deserted planet - but that doesn't stop him. The Mighty and Impulsive Pipes can deal with anything he comes across! He doesn't wander too far from wherever the current inhabitants of the city are holed up, painfully aware of comms being down and dangerous Decepticons around so he shouldn't be too hard to run across; generally exploring the big, obvious buildings first hoping to find something useful or interesting.
Maybe he'll drop by the known settlements, like the medibay to see how people are doing. Maybe if he sees someone out in the street or scavenging, he'll call out to them, just a "Hey! Are you alright?" all too aware of the drama that's been going down recently. He worries, guys, he can't help it.

It was a particularly dark part of the metropolis, hidden under a network of highways that rose out of the underground and up between the several massive towers to cast deep shadows over any nearby architecture. The Sixer was little more than a dark silhouette, more noise and shadow than sight.

Pipes doesn't recognise Sixshot from his silhouette, but does remember the warning from the Lost Light Meetupâ„¢ about Tarn being present. For a brief, nauseatingly panicked filled moment, the minibot thinks he might've stumbled into the infamous Decepticon fanatic. He immediately backs away, optics wide and locked on the shadow. Unfortunately, he also manages to trip over a piece of rubble, landing loudly on his ass and knocking a few more precariously balanced rocks free from a nearby pile of debris.
Shit.

And then...
"Hm."
Letting the beam go, Sixshot dusts his hands off and steps out of the hole. A beam of light catches the back of his shoulders, lighting up the rather rust-stained white white and green armor as the Sixer strides over to a small pile of things obscured in the shadows.
"I've got something to deliver."
no subject
Opting to stay where he is, Pipes leans forward ever so gently. Probably against his best interests, but he squints - trying to make out the pile in the shadows. Curiosity never killed the minibot, after all.
no subject
It takes three steps for the Sixer to cover the ground between them, placing him just a bare few meters away from the minibot, towering over him even as Sixshot crouches. He extends a hand and holds out...
A medical drone?
"Take this to First Aid."
no subject
"Thanks..."
He trails off a bit awkwardly, not sure what to say. That's enough, right?
no subject
When it doesn't come, he prompts, "... Not gonna ask if it's rigged?"
no subject
The thought had crossed his mind. "...Didn't want to offend you?" And then get blasted.
no subject
That's comforting, right?
no subject
"Good to... know. Um. Thanks. Again."
no subject
Great conversation.
Yes.
... Having run out of things to say, Sixshot turns to go back to digging out the hell hole he'd made of the building's basement.
no subject
"Uh... should I tell him who it's from?"
What's your name, big guy.
Thread wrap?
heeeeeey pipes
Which is why she watches the minibot calling out to someone who is clearly not interested in holding a conversation. Arcee doesn't even bother rolling her optics, she's just content to watch the little one make a fool out of himself for as long as she found entertainment from it. Which didn't turn out to be very long, and she drops to the ground - ready to make a break for it when he turns the question on her.
Maybe a glare will get him to stop.
hi mom
This time, however, he just waves at her with a little faceless minibot grin.

"What do you want."
It's not a question.
no subject
"Some basic social interaction? I dunno, I've been looking around on my own for ages, it's getting a bit lonely."
While he doesn't know who Arcee is, he's getting a bit of a Whirl vibe from her. He's fairly sure at least he can run and hide under some nearby debris if she decides to attack. Ah, being small.
no subject
Arcee's on her own because she actively chose it. But she knows the other option exists and can't understand why someone who didn't want to be alone would be.
no subject
"Scavenging. Believe it or not, occasionally I find something that's not a complete waste of time."
LIKE YOU, ARCEE!!!!!
no subject
Which she does. Poorly.
"Like?"
no subject
"Seriously, though. Cloth for the humans and tubing for the medibay. I found one of those colour cubes as well but... that's more for time wasting, not so much actually useful..."
Pipes turns a misc. piece of metal over in his hands.
"Some ammo, too. You can have it if you want."
no subject
"Okay." Lowering it, she frowns. "What do the cubes do."
no subject
Pipes' visor brightens, already excited to show her. He whacks the side of one of the cubes and it lights up faintly, different coloured squares visible. Twisting it around, Pipes manages to make a side line up, where the colours merge and get brighter. FUTURISTIC ROBOT RUBIKS CUBES HELL YEAH
He holds it up, then pauses a moment, considering. "I mean, it's pretty hefty, too. You could probably..." What would Whirl do with one of these? Oh, right. Of course. "Clock someone with it if you threw it hard enough!"
That'll impress her, right?
no subject
This is how people have conversations right.
no subject
"Maybe if you didn't throw it? Totally innocuous toy then BAM!" he whacks his fist into his palm. "Unconscious!"
FOR JUNE
Considering she'd said she was a nurse, Pipes figured she might be hanging out at the clinic, seeing to the other humans that had shown up. He hopes none of them had been hurt by the other robots. Not everyone is careful around smaller lifeforms, unfortunately.
It doesn't take him long to get to the clinic, and he saunters in, looking around.
"June? Are you in here? I found something for you!"
no subject
"Pipes? Over here!"
no subject
"You said you needed a nap right?" Pipes that was like a month ago. "I found something that might help!"
Pipes holds up the cloth. Hmm, June was smaller than he remembered, hopefully this isn't too much. At least the colour is nice and obnoxiously neon.
no subject
"Where did you find this? Pipes, this is perfect."
no subject
Seeing as he's not a medic or a science and has limited skills beyond being a solider. He doesn't feel useless or anything, he just enjoys looking around and finding the occasional neat little tidbit.
"Have you settled in okay?"
no subject
"That's good of you," June says warmly, rolling up the bolt of cloth to set it aside. She can think of at least a dozen things she could use it for.
"Oh, I'm getting along. I've been hanging out here, mostly. I'm hoping to set up a clinic for the humans around, too, but...we're a little short on human-sized tools."
no subject
"Oh, that's a shame. I hope we can sort something out for you guys." He means it, it would be a shame for the humans to be pulled here then killed off because of something so trivial.
"I can keep an extra look out while I'm exploring if you give me a list of stuff."
no subject
"I'd be happy to," June says, beaming. "Thank you, Pipes, it's sweet of you to help. But I want to hear about how you're doing. Are you all right? Getting everything you need?"
no subject
He rubs the back of his head awkwardly, going slightly pink.
"Just nothing actually useful, a hah... I'm really curious as to what happened!"
no subject
"Well, I'm glad to hear it... What, do you think something different happened here? I thought it was the war...you know, the same war you guys always seem to have."
no subject
He's not a science. His main idea is 'magic.'
