What: pipes is being a bit of a busybody and seeking out those he's spoken to before but hasn't seen for a while along with generally just exploring

Wandering around, Pipes couldn't help but frown at some of the buildings that had seen the worst of this Cybertron's war. It's incredibly eerie, especially having made the stunningly good decision to go on his own - he was so eager to explore he didn't really think ahead in terms of possible danger on a deserted planet - but that doesn't stop him. The Mighty and Impulsive Pipes can deal with anything he comes across! He doesn't wander too far from wherever the current inhabitants of the city are holed up, painfully aware of comms being down and dangerous Decepticons around so he shouldn't be too hard to run across; generally exploring the big, obvious buildings first hoping to find something useful or interesting.

Maybe he'll drop by the known settlements, like the medibay to see how people are doing. Maybe if he sees someone out in the street or scavenging, he'll call out to them, just a "Hey! Are you alright?" all too aware of the drama that's been going down recently. He worries, guys, he can't help it.

Arcee likes being on her own, things are simpler when she is. There's not enough activity for her to keep herself busy in the way she'd like - they're in short supply of idiots she can beat up and not have to explain why - so she resorts to doing what she does second best. Watching. People don't look up, she's found, any more than they did on the proper Cybertron.

Which is why she watches the minibot calling out to someone who is clearly not interested in holding a conversation. Arcee doesn't even bother rolling her optics, she's just content to watch the little one make a fool out of himself for as long as she found entertainment from it. Which didn't turn out to be very long, and she drops to the ground - ready to make a break for it when he turns the question on her.

Maybe a glare will get him to stop.

Alas, the glare does nothing. While Pipes was admittedly deterred by Sixshot earlier, Arcee lacks the stature and heavy weaponry of a phase sixer, making her - to Pipes, at least - more approachable. He's trying to be more impulsive, after all.

This time, however, he just waves at her with a little faceless minibot grin.

Oh. He's an Autobot. That means she can't just beat him up if he continues down this path of... waving at her? Confusion passes over her face, mouth in a thin line.

"What do you want."

It's not a question.

Sorry bud, it's social interaction time.

"Some basic social interaction? I dunno, I've been looking around on my own for ages, it's getting a bit lonely."

While he doesn't know who Arcee is, he's getting a bit of a Whirl vibe from her. He's fairly sure at least he can run and hide under some nearby debris if she decides to attack. Ah, being small.

"There are others here. Why aren't you with them?"

Arcee's on her own because she actively chose it. But she knows the other option exists and can't understand why someone who didn't want to be alone would be.

He shrugs lightly.

"Scavenging. Believe it or not, occasionally I find something that's not a complete waste of time."

Okay, she's kind of interested. Well, not really, but she suspects most people would and therefore can fake it if she has to.

Which she does. Poorly.

"Like?"

"You!" He laughs like the obnoxious little turd he is, then trails off.

"Seriously, though. Cloth for the humans and tubing for the medibay. I found one of those colour cubes as well but... that's more for time wasting, not so much actually useful..."

Pipes turns a misc. piece of metal over in his hands.

"Some ammo, too. You can have it if you want."

This is what people trying to be nice and friendly is like. Right, yes. Arcee had forgotten about that. She takes the two bullets from him - holding them up to inspect them. They might be useless, but she's not going to turn it down.

"Okay." Lowering it, she frowns. "What do the cubes do."

"Oh, they're actually pretty fun!"

Pipes' visor brightens, already excited to show her. He whacks the side of one of the cubes and it lights up faintly, different coloured squares visible. Twisting it around, Pipes manages to make a side line up, where the colours merge and get brighter. FUTURISTIC ROBOT RUBIKS CUBES HELL YEAH

He holds it up, then pauses a moment, considering. "I mean, it's pretty hefty, too. You could probably..." What would Whirl do with one of these? Oh, right. Of course. "Clock someone with it if you threw it hard enough!"

That'll impress her, right?

"I guess." Well it's not impressive, but it's a use, she supposes. "Not aerodynamic. You wouldn't be able to use them long distance and they wouldn't penetrate plating."

This is how people have conversations right.

"Maybe if you didn't throw it? Totally innocuous toy then BAM!" he whacks his fist into his palm. "Unconscious!"
