Open -- Arrivel
Who: Starscream and you!
Where: In the City
When: Now I suppose
What: Obviously Starscream has died and gone to hell
Warnings: Starscream
Just when he thought his life couldn't get any worse, it did. And this time it really wasn't his fault. Well, that he was aware of at least. As far as he could remember he hadn't messed with anything to warrant him waking up in a ruined looking city. Cybertron? Last he saw the place wasn't completely abandoned; and there was no way Shockwave would devise some strange scheme to teleport him there just to enact revenge on him for ruining his plans was there?
Of course the possibility did cross his mind as he stood and shifted around suspiciously almost like a small prey animal that heard a strange noise. Or a cat who saw it's own shadow on the floor.
But no, it couldn't be Shockwave. Because Megatron had shown back up and had him cowering in a back corner all armless and stuff.
In an exasperated sigh, he looks upwards.
"For once can't things be a little normal. Primus, I'm not saying you exist, because I know you don't and are just a figment of the mindless masses imagination because really who is that stupid to believe in some sort of 'higher power' ... but eh, I have to ask ... why do you hate me this much?"
He gestures with his hand to the sky as he speaks to the open air.
"All I was doing was minding my own business and trying to take over a planet of insignificant flesh creatures, is that really so wrong?"

"To live in a world where to do such a thing deserves punishment is punishment enough."
It was a rule in Megatron's mind that his entrances must always be grand and dramatic. It brought on a good first impression, see? He emerged from the shadows, a light smile playing across his scarred face. The newcomer was interesting. Familiar, but not so familiar that he could immediately come up with a name for him.
"I'm afraid you will find that there is no Primus here."
no subject
It was eerily familiar and the design too. His eyes narrow in caution, but he otherwise just straightens in his stance.
"Good. I'd hate to end up having been blasphemous to the god who doesn't exist and all."
This mech had an interesting look to him. Hard. Warn. Obviously someone who had seen a lot of battles. The Decepticon emblem on his chest was indication enough.
Which was also further reason to keep his guard up, though he does fold his arms cross his chest in a sort of relaxed fashion. Appearances are everything.
"I'm going to guess you're not the designated tour guide who's going to tell me just where in the pit I am."
In other words, who are you.
no subject
He laughed and sauntered closer, his red optics scanning this newcomer up and down. Again he was hit with a sense of familiarity, a name just beyond his reach. Megatron put his hands behind his back and stopped at a good distance from the other Decepticon. He liked to think that he looked the picture of authority.
"I am merely an unwilling tourist, just as you are." His grin widened. "But I am fortunate enough to come across such a fine Decepticon such as yourself. Might I have your name, soldier?"
no subject
The way this mech held himself, the confidence and just stature. He just had this feeling. But it was one that Starscream didn't particularly care for.
Either way, he didn't move from his spot and just eyed the larger Decepticon.
"Starscream. I assume that if you're of any importance, you might have heard of me."
no subject
"I have heard of you, yes. But not the you you are familiar with." His voice is light and lazy, and his entire body language relaxes. He knew what he's dealing with now.
"I am Megatron, pleasure to be acquainted with you Starscream."
no subject
His last run in with his own Megatron was far from pleasent, so he had to use all his will power to keep from dramatically sighing at this whole thing. Another Megatron? Just what is this place?
"I thought your general ... features seemed similar."
Such as the same bullet-shaped head but he won't vocalize that.
"Well, in that case, you wouldn't mind filling me in on what's going on? I seemed to have missed the memo."
no subject
It would seem that Megatron was in a very giving mood. Starscream should consider himself lucky.
"I believe that some Decepticons have holed themselves up somewhere. I would suggest seeking them out if you don't mind that some of them might kill you on sight."
no subject
Between Shockwave, Sunstorm, and Megatron showing back up, Starscream really needed a vacation. Just not this kind of one.
"So the gist I'm getting is -- our general population is people who want to kill each other and some who might get squished in the process? Great. At least its not so different than how it is on Earth ... a little empty though."
no subject
With that he took a few steps closer, allowing his bulk to tower over the seeker. Why shouldn't the power balance between them be any different? Deep down though, Megatron is a little bit tired of dealing with alternates. But perhaps this one will prove interesting.
"Now, Starscream, I have to wonder what you will be doing. I would invite you to stay with me, but I don't imagine you'll be pleased with dealing with an alternate version of yourself?"
But it'd be the most entertainment Megatron's had in weeks, so he's hopeful.
no subject
"That depends on how much you'd care if the other me happens to disappear in some sort of sudden and tragic 'accident.'"
Starscream himself didn't like the idea of another 'him,' he had enough with that stupid clone. Then again, isn't the Earth saying 'two heads are better than one' ? Maybe. He'll have to see.
no subject
But there's a knowing look in his eye as he gazes down at this other Starscream. Oh he has a good idea of what is going on in that treacherous mind. It's comforting, almost, to know that some things never change across universes. Rather like Optimus. He takes no issue to scheming and backstabbing. It's expected.
"I have no inclination to kill you right now, so I believe we'll get along for the time being." That's practically a marriage proposal coming from the Decepticon leader. "Do leave my Starscream alone, will you? Right now, at least."
no subject
His expression shifts to a smirk if not a full grin. Megatrons don't change across universes either it seems. The bossy attitude and almost threats are familiar and Starscream can deal with that.
"Does this mean I get invited to your base camp or will I have to make an appointment before visiting?"
He'd really like to get some exploring done, but having a place to go back to might be a good idea. At least for now. He'll have to see what the Autobots are up to as well.
