Who: Starscream and you!
Where: In the City
When: Now I suppose
What: Obviously Starscream has died and gone to hell
Warnings: Starscream
Just when he thought his life couldn't get any worse, it did. And this time it really wasn't his fault. Well, that he was aware of at least. As far as he could remember he hadn't messed with anything to warrant him waking up in a ruined looking city. Cybertron? Last he saw the place wasn't completely abandoned; and there was no way Shockwave would devise some strange scheme to teleport him there just to enact revenge on him for ruining his plans was there?
Of course the possibility did cross his mind as he stood and shifted around suspiciously almost like a small prey animal that heard a strange noise. Or a cat who saw it's own shadow on the floor.
But no, it couldn't be Shockwave. Because Megatron had shown back up and had him cowering in a back corner all armless and stuff.
In an exasperated sigh, he looks upwards.
"For once can't things be a little normal. Primus, I'm not saying you exist, because I know you don't and are just a figment of the mindless masses imagination because really who is that stupid to believe in some sort of 'higher power' ... but eh, I have to ask ... why do you hate me this much?"
He gestures with his hand to the sky as he speaks to the open air.
"All I was doing was minding my own business and trying to take over a planet of insignificant flesh creatures, is that really so wrong?"

Bumblebee is teasing. Mostly teasing. There's actually a kernel of truth to that.

He has a lot of enemies, yes, but there are certain people who have more. Such as Soundwave picking him over Shockwave. And everyone probably hates Shockwave by now.

"Just so you know... The one I know? Elected leader of Cybertron."
no subject
"... Oh. So that's why you asked me that question. Clever, kid. You're actually using your processor ... a habit most Autobots and Cybertronians fail to do."
no subject
Maybe he should be wary. Problem is, his former profession isn't really a secret. Starscream can find this out easily enough on his own. What it gives away, however, is that he is not to be underestimated. In the end, most do, regardless. Maybe it's from being a minibot. Who knows.

Bumblebee can certainly take a compliment, but it's not like Starscream forgot what he said earlier. The kid had some inner issues -- not that he particularly cared -- but this still could be a possibly temporary ally.
As much as an Autobot could be one to a Decepticon that is. And to be truthful, Starscream could play nice when he wanted to. The problem was, he generally didn't. But as long as this kid wasn't actively trying to get in his way, he'd have no reason to outright kill him.

If he had his tasercane... Unfortunately he doesn't. Starscream certainly knows when to strike a nerve and where. Bee just doesn't see how it benefits the jet to bring it up know. If he really wanted to attack Starscream, he could. There are certainly plenty that would probably thank him for it.
"As for what I've done? None of your business, really."
no subject
Oh he knew he struck a nerve. That much was obvious. Bumblebee apparently has some issues he needs to work through. But in the end, don't they all?
"If you're going to let the words of an 'enemy' get to you, I'm afraid to see how'd you fair with a friend. A word of advice, never let what others say about you dictate your worth. Because there's always going to be someone out there who dislikes you. As long as you like who you are, what else matters?"
In other words, don't give a shit what other people say.
no subject
No more, though.
"Don't tell me that I'm getting a pep talk from Starscream. I think I might have to make sure I save the recording."
no subject
"Oh, you do that. I hope you listen it every night as you drift into recharge. That way you'll think of me all night long."
no subject
"Well there's a nightmare waiting to happen."
no subject
"You're the one who brought it up."

Two can play this game. He might not be able to completely keep up with Starscream at this point, but Bumblebee can make a valiant effort.
no subject
And Bumblebee is certainly doing rather well. Starscream can appreciate the attempt.
no subject
Look at that smug little grin.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't blast you for that absolutely terrible one-liner."
no subject
"Maybe because you don't want to piss off Optimus Prime?"
no subject
He still has his weapon aimed, but it isn't powered up. So there is that.
no subject
"First of all, you really don't know how many Autobots are here. Firing on their favorite mini isn't a good way of making the allies you're going to need. Secondly? I don't think you want to piss off Megatron this early in the game. Finally... I've already died once. How overprotective do you think Optimus is really going to be?"
Spoilers: Bee is only out and about because he can give the Prime the slip.
no subject
"Well, first, I don't care. Second, pissing off Megatron is my past time hobby and finally, who says they'd ever know it was me? From what I've heard there are several of 'mes' around," he pauses as his expression shifts to a smirk. "And I could always make it look like a tragic accident I was in no way involved in."

But then again, Starscream is thinking of his own Prowl who is like a annoying happy guy or something. Not going-to-get-punched-by-optimus Prowl.
He does not, however, comment on the second part. Mostly because it's true.
