another char arrival log. my god
Who: peridot and.... you??!?!?!!
Where: PLACES
When: grunts
What: earth isn't what peridot expected and she's pissed off
Warnings: MUCH EXASPERATION
a. crater/city/city outskirts
Her gem wasn't damaged by the crash. That was, much to Peridot's relief, instantly apparent.
She forms a pad out of her fingers not long after she stopped panicking (only took a good ten minutes), running some scans and tapping out some basic observations. Her pod was nowhere to be seen; troubling, but not much she could do about it.
"Just what I needed..." she mutters to herself, two fingers floating up to pinch the bridge of her nose.
"Earth is noticeably," Peridot looks around, kneels down and pokes at the ground before speaking directly into the pad. "Dilapidated. I've lost the Kindergarten location, however it remains my top priority."
Closing the pad and sighing heavily again, she clomps away from where she woke up, unknowingly following the behest of a call towards the city.
b. medibay
It's time to make proper contact with the locals.
Eugh.
Peridot chose what appeared to be a production/research facility for her loathsome task - at the very least, it appeared to be one of the more active buildings. She can talk to one, ask for parts in exchange for some kind of service. Homeworld was partial to those who can offer something in return, surely this place would work the same way?
That said... they are awfully big when you get close, battlesuits or not. Peridot can't help but find herself sticking close to the shadows, subconsciously hiding from beings over thirty times her size.
Let's hope there's no misunderstandings about why she's sliding around equipment and file locations. Especially seeing as it's the middle of the night.

That's what happens when you're a living thing."
no subject
Peridot wants to believe that nothing would ever choose to be this annoying and trashy. Then again, Jasper...
"Seriously, now."
no subject
...
A hand goes over his face, wiping it down as if to wipe off that expression. Replacing it with a grumpy face.
"I'm alive."
no subject
Sorry, Jackie. Peridot is an infant and also being kinda racist.
no subject
He picks one up, as a demonstration, leaning over to hold it right in front of her. Before crushing it.
"See what I'm gettin' at here?"
no subject
"It's a new concept to me. I'm not even on the planet I was supposed to be on! It was right in front of me!"
...
"I have to go. And look for something."
no subject
My planet."
A smirk.
"Good luck, you'll have more of me to look forward to."
no subject
She actually would like the correct race name. For science reasons.
no subject
...
"Cybertronian. I'm Cybertronian."
no subject
"Cybertronian? Well, that certainly doesn't sound made up."
She is now being even more shitty and obnoxious because honestly go to hell, Wheeljack.
no subject
Ok. He can play this game. Brb putting his foot a little bit above her.
Hello ant.
no subject
Unfortunately, she can't move too fast.
no subject
He doesn't lower it--it was more of a threat than anything, but watches as she slowly hovers up to eye height, like a little lazy bug.]
"Relax, Green. Just tryin' to get your full attention."
no subject
"You already had it you clod!"
Well done, she's pissed enough to use her Trademark Insult.
no subject
"Aww I'm flattered. Not surprised. I'm a goldmine of charm."
no subject
With her spare fingers, she rubs them down her face. Man, she's actually glad this horrible, clearly virus ridden machine isn't aggressive.
"I give up! I'm done!"
And she deactivates her hand, landing on her feet with a whump.
no subject
He watches her drop down, hands going to his hips as he leans against the wall, smirking.
"Still gonna go with the 'mindless machine' thing?"
no subject
...
"For Homeworld to subjugate."
no subject
"I don't think so."
He laughs, leaning on that wall to poke a finger down on the top of her triangle hair.
"I don't do labs."
no subject
"You don't have a choice!"
But also maybe she should shut up.
no subject
"Yeah? I mean...pretty sure I can outrun ya."
no subject
And yet.
"I'd find a way."
no subject
But there's that smirk again, leaning back a little. "Is that a challenge? Because I'm inclined to take you up on it."
no subject
Maybe this'll make him shut up and leave her alone.
"Yes. I need time to prepare, but yes."
She can probably super charge her stasis ray for something that big. If she finds what she needs.
