Something felt off, but it's one of those things where you don't really -know- what's off. You wake up one day and suddenly..you're far more energetic and restless than usual. And it's enough for Optimus to go out and about to wander. Not that it's doing much good--the exercise (if you can call it that) and the change of visual stimuli doesn't do a thing to calm his behavior.

What was this feeling?

It's arousal, Optimus. You know, that thing you absolutely NEVER FEEL because you legit forgot what it's like to do the do.

While he would disagree with Ironhide's opinion of him (and everyone else probaby would too, given his reputation), Optimus will let it slide this once. It's completely the pollen working on his mind by now, letting any doubts or personal hang ups fall limp in favour of this feeling.

Ironhide's rough movements are perfect in his mind, matching his own brash, but surprisingly delicate movements. His lips brush down his jawline, moving towards those neck cables as he tilts his head to accomodate.

His hands? They're working their way down his sides, pulling up Ironhide's hips. Maybe even slightly off the ground.

If it ever came up, there is no chance Ironhide would sway on his opinion. Not in the least. But it's not important now. All that's important is the contact and the feeling. Knowing he's here with Optimus Prime, when he thought he'd never see him again, let alone ...
