The back of his helm thunks gently when he lets it fall against the wall, optics shuttering closed. "They're fine. I mean, Ratchet says Drift'll recover but he's-- I didn't think he was alive when I found him." Which says a lot about what was left of Drift.

Oh right, he asked other questions. "A few days ago? I don't know, Ratchet's busy hopping around on one leg and Drift's still out." So they're working on nothing and he hates it just as much as anything else. He's silent for a long moment, exhaustion threatening to overtake him completely.

But when he speeks again it's with his usual amount of resolve. 'What is going on?' - he doesn't know. But there's one thing he does know: "I'm not letting Tarn get away with this," even as Megatron is already planning on 'dealing with it'.

Minimus is quiet for a few moments before responding. "Rodimus, if Ratchet says Drift will recover I would trust him. He knows what he's doing, there's a reason he's the CMO. "

The edge in Rodimus' voice was impossible to ignore, the one that usually meant he was about to something incredibly impulsive and probably ill advised. That did not bode well.

"Where are you, currently?"

That gets a noise of agreement from Rodimus, although he doesn't say anything else about the matter. He knows Ratchet will do his best, but until he sees Drift he can't help but think of what ifs. He's lost too many people in the past few years to not be worried.

"At the clinic." Not for much longer is implicit in his tone.
