Hey there, June Darby here... Some of you already know me, but if you don't -- I'm one of the humans who was also inexplicably dragged here. Which kind of puts me at a disadvantage, as I'm sure you could imagine.

That said, I'd like to...give myself some more context for all of this. Would any of you have anything I could read about the history of your war? Most of you seem to be from the same universe, a different one than mine, so -- that's the version of the war I'm most interested in learning about, I guess. Got any...I don't know, history books or anything with you?

[ well, this woman's certainly very businesslike. she's a little brisk and demanding for june's taste, but she can appreciate someone who's here to get things done. and at any rate, it's not june's first dealing with occasionally stiff government agents. the agency isn't familiar to her, though. ]

Systems Alliance? Hmm. Never heard of it. I'm guessing you're from a different world, then.

[ she's getting a little blase about that. you can really only maintain the wow factor on that kind of thing for so long before you start to acclimate. she smiles, though, warm and welcoming, but still very much interested in what miranda has to say. ]

Well, I'm glad to meet you, Miranda. I'm all right, so don't worry -- you know, the Autobots aren't so bad. They mostly look out for us humans -- and no, we're not the only ones. There are a few others, but not many.

[ she looks thoughtful, tapping her chin. ]

I guess I don't mind -- it might be handy to have that for reference later, anyway. But if you don't mind, why don't we meet up in person? I'd be happy to exchange notes, and I can fill you in on the situation. I'm...well, I guess you could say I'm a little more familiar with it than most humans here.

Different world? I see.

[ Not an explanation she wanted to consider, but one she had already anticipated given the nature of her arrival. Quantum mechanics were one of the few disciplines outside of her command, what with until a few days ago being considered pseudoscience in that regard. ]

Autobots? Are these a faction of some sort among the synthetics?

[ beat. ]

I'd be happy to meet with you in person.

[ Is Junes knows these synthetics well enough it would make tapping their communications network easier for Miranda. ]

[ well, miranda's taking this well. that's a...good sign. she thinks so, anyway. ]

Yeah, them and the Decepticons both. There's kind of a war thing going on. And they're not synthetic, not really -- they're as alive as you and me, just...made out of metal. And for beings that live for millions of years, you'd be astonished how childish they can be.

[ seriously, miranda, they are a bunch of babies. ]

But we should meet up -- it might be easier to explain in person. Do you know where the fountain is, in the city? That's probably the easiest place -- it's not like there are street signs to give you directions by.
