[ NETWORK: VIDEO ]

[ june's decided to post a video, mostly so she can establish that she is one of the few tiny non-Cybertronians on the planet, because that sort of has context for what she's about to ask ]

Hey there, June Darby here... Some of you already know me, but if you don't -- I'm one of the humans who was also inexplicably dragged here. Which kind of puts me at a disadvantage, as I'm sure you could imagine.

That said, I'd like to...give myself some more context for all of this. Would any of you have anything I could read about the history of your war? Most of you seem to be from the same universe, a different one than mine, so -- that's the version of the war I'm most interested in learning about, I guess. Got any...I don't know, history books or anything with you?

[Skipper lets out a long, aggravated, very teenaged "aaaaaaarrrrgh" and fingercombs some of the tangles out of her face.] You sure? Not even a little hairbrush? Like, I can live without glitter, and without nail polish, and without cell service, but-- my hair has never been this gross, ever--

[She seems to be working herself up into a proper state of agitation, her upset kicking up about five notches with every necessity she can live without, before she closes her eyes (her makeup seems to be perfect despite her general disarray) and takes a couple deep breaths, the heels of her hands pressed to her forehead.

This nice lady is asking if she's okay. (Privately, she consults her mental What Would Barbie Do handbook, which is very important regardless of if she's looking for something to help her or for something to rebel against.) She should... answer that question, right.]

Like, I guess I'm okay? I'm not hurt or anything. And the robots are totes fine. I've just never roughed it, like, for realsies before, you know? I'm not the girl scout...

[June's maternal tone is reassuring on a deep level, and Skipper musters up an appreciative smile, awkward on her tense and dirty face.]

Skipper Roberts. And a place to stay would be nice. [It's not like Skipper can be hurt by exposure or hunger or lack of Jacuzzis, but sleeping under the stars isn't her idea of a good time.] Thanks. Uh, if you need help with anything, like, electronic or whatever, I'm kinda like a whiz at that stuff, so I can pay you back for the place...
