Hey there, June Darby here... Some of you already know me, but if you don't -- I'm one of the humans who was also inexplicably dragged here. Which kind of puts me at a disadvantage, as I'm sure you could imagine.

That said, I'd like to...give myself some more context for all of this. Would any of you have anything I could read about the history of your war? Most of you seem to be from the same universe, a different one than mine, so -- that's the version of the war I'm most interested in learning about, I guess. Got any...I don't know, history books or anything with you?

[Okay, well he's not expecting that. And to be honest, he's not really had a chance to make himself presentable. Probably should've done that.]

Other than being transported to an alien planet--which y'know, normally would be pretty sweet if I wasn't in the middle of some super important, world saving work back home--I could really use a shower.

[ MOM FROWN. but she's still looking at him critically, because whatever he says, he looks a little wild around the eyes and the opposite of okay. and with how mucked up and disheveled he looks, he could have been in some kind of accident for all she knows. ]

No running water right now, but there is water at least. [ she pauses, brow furrowing ] Listen, my name's June -- I'm one of the humans here, and I'd be happy to fill you in on what's going on. But let me check you out, okay? I'm a nurse. I just want to make sure you're all right.

What? Oh, no, this is mine. I think the drift probably triggered some sort of seizure before I got here because my brain got overloaded but I'm totally fine.

[He tries to PRETEND LIKE THATS OK.]

--Oh, I'm a doctor! I'm totally fine, y'know, just a little hungry and dirty. And on an alien planet. With giant alien robots. That can talk.

[He pauses, running a hand through his gross hair and laughing.]
